Inserting links to the map

Links to other sites can be embedded in icons, routes or specially designated areas of the map.

Illustration for link to map1

Once the section of the map that you would like to create a link for is fully displayed, go to the button marked with a chain in the right-hand sidebar and click on it to display the map's coordinates. The coordinates are accurate enough that they will reflect whether the map is zoomed in or out. The coordinates are also automatically copied to the clipboard, making it simple to paste them onto a separate page, whether bulletin board or blog, and viewers can then access the section of the map from that link.

Illustration for link to map2

By clicking on the link button (marked with a chain) in icon/route comment boxes, that icon/route is displayed, and its coordinates are copied onto the clipboard.

Illustration for link to map3
The difference between a map link and a route/icon link is that with the latter, if the position of an icon is subsequently moved, the new coordinates will automatically update in the link.

Pasting maps on blogs, etc.

Entire sections of the map can also be pasted to other sites (blogs, etc.).

First, display the section of map that you would like to copy, pass the cursor over an icon to make the comment box display and click on the button marked with the box cutter image. If a comment does not appear in the selected area of the map, press the button marked with a box cutter located in the upper right sidebar.

Illustration for pasting maps on blogs 3
